Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train production operators, ensuring smooth workflow and high team morale.
- Allocate tasks based on production needs and individual strengths.
- Manage permanent and temporary staff, and handling absence management.
- Step in during team member absences and communicate priorities and updates.
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring products meet specifications and quality standards.
- Plan and coordinate daily production schedules.
- Conduct regular product quality inspections and ensure equipment is calibrated and fit for use.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety policies, conducting safety audits, and ensuring PPE is used.
- Document hazards and near misses with corrective actions.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements to reduce waste, eliminate defects, and lower costs
