**About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both teachers and students across the school. This is a full-time, long-term position, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a mainstream secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support to students across a range of subjects
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with students who require additional support
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with varying abilities, including those with SEN
- Assist in monitoring and reporting student progress
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events
**Requirements:
- A degree in any subject (essential)
- A valid DBS on the update service (essential)
- Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to learning
- Passionate about working in education and making a difference
