Bookkeeper
- Location: Harrogate Town Centre - You must be based in the Harrogate Area to be considered.
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (flexible depending on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30-17.00
We are currently working in partnership with a highly established luxury business with over a century in the market, who are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in Harrogate Town Centre.

Day to Day of the role:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable using Sage accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payments.
- Handle VAT returns and other tax-related documentation.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with credit control.
- Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to finance.
- Undertake additional PA duties for the Directors as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are preferred.
