Reed Accountancy are currently partnered with a returning Goring based client seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Working within a growing luxury business you will be a key part of the team and support across their growth plans for the future. You will be highly organised, enthusiastic and experienced in working within an accounting environment.
Duties for this role include:
- Ensure all supplier invoices are authorised, processed, and recorded accurately and timely
- Process new supplier accounts and analyse & process supplier invoices according to project codes & departments.
- Handle suppliers' queries courteously and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date supplier records and solid relationships.
- Process employee expenses and assist with weekly UK and international payment runs.
- Manage the payables mailbox and maintain and reconcile duty and freight cost control.
- Handle prepayments and accruals for supplier invoices, safeguard fixed asset additions, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly international VAT returns, assist with cost analytics and reporting, and landed cost calculations.
- Assist with annual audit queries, POP process development, and improvements.
- Perform ad hoc finance tasks and adapt to the changing needs of the business.
This role would be well suited to a candidate that is partially or fully qualified in AAT with Advanced Excel skills would be highly desirable, along with previous exposure to SAGE 200.
