As a Packaging Technologist in the creative No7 Beauty Company Gifting team, you will work in a cross-functional brand pod to deliver new packaging solutions to agreed time, cost and CSR standards.

You will play an important part in the interpretation of creative design into technically and commercially feasible printed packaging. Your extensive packaging technical knowledge and expertise will enable the development of new packaging formats from concept to manufacturing scale-up which delights consumers and drives growth for The No7 Beauty Company brands.

About the role

  • Uses high levels of packaging expertise to optimise specification, challenge thinking and ensure the best, packaging design, artwork & print.
  • Accountable for print feasibility, proofing and artwork.
  • Manages all stakeholders to ensure delivery on time to the correct cost and quality.
  • Accountable for delivering against the packaging sustainability targets, consumer, category and brand requirements.
  • Accountable data quality and accuracy, assembly instructions and delivering the final specifications.
  • Conducts all necessary due diligence and testing and is accountable for identifying and effectively managing packaging technical risks.
  • Accountable for identifying and delivering ongoing packaging and technical process improvements.

What you'll need to have

  • Experience developing packaging from design concept to market, ideally within FMCG environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of key packaging technologies, with key strengths in print feasibility, proofing, origination and artwork.
  • Proven ability to manage risk, priorities and overall timings for complex technical projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
