NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for a self-motivated, growth focused sales professional to join their fast paced sales team. The National Account Manager will be managing a portfolio of key, national accounts within the wholesale channel.
In addition, you will play a pivitol role in shaping and executing strategy, building strong customer relationships, and creating new business opportunities across this dynamic sector, in a very fast paced market space.
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER DUTIES:
- Developing and implementing annual sector strategy
- Building and growing relationships with national accounts
- Creating tailored account plans and promotional strategies
- Collaborating across sales, marketing, and trade functions
- Identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue
- Maintaining strong buyer communication and category focus
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience of working in a B2B sales role, ideally within FMCG / retailer / wholesale markets
- Strong planning, negotiation, and presentation skills
- An excellent communicator and relationship builder
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
- Experience within the wholesale sector would be brilliant as this is a key focus within this role.
- Full, clean UK driving licence required - company car / car allowance offered as part of your package
