Legal PA Private Client & Conveyancing

If you're looking for a new Private Client/Conveyancing Secretarial position with a respected law firm in the Northwest of London, then my client's new role will be of interest.

Working 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, and with an earlier finish on a Friday, they also offer a great package including above average holidays.

The firm has been established for almost 100 years, and they're experts in Private Client and Property based law, so the expectation is that the Legal PA will be very experienced in these areas.

Supporting a Partner and Senior Solicitor, responsibilities of the role will include:

Dealing with incoming and outgoing communications by phone, client/personal attendance, post etc

Opening and closing files in accordance with the firm's compliance policy

General File Management and Client Liaison management including but not limited to keeping clients and other parties informed, ensuring that all files are effectively managed with records of correspondence, attendances, documents etc.

Filing / photocopying Deed Poll applications

Preparing Court Bundles Employment Law

Administrative duties related to settlement agreements

Liaising with clients, estate agents and solicitors and other third parties and government bodies

Generating Quotes for Residential and Commercial Conveyancing matters including but not limited to Sales, Purchase's, Transfer of Equity, Remortgages and Independent Legal Advice

Drafting application forms and IHT accounts

Drafting and finalising Lasting Power of Attorney documents

Drafting Court of Protection documents

Dealing with submissions to the Office of Public Guardian and Court of Protection

Assisting with the preparation and issuance of client invoices

Monitoring and tracking outstanding invoices
