We are working with an established Courier Service organisation who due to expansion looking to recruit a Trainee Courier Customer Service Agent.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident individual looking to start their career within a busy Customer Service/ Operations role. The role is split into 2 areas as below; you will be dealing with other Large Courier / Freight organisation so need to have good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of staff.
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Courier customer service
Tracking and updating shipments.
Supporting our current customer service team.
Answering phone calls and emails.
Speaking with clients regarding their shipments.
Quoting courier shipments.
Learning the process from start to finish for importing and exporting via courier services.
Freight operations and customer service
Quoting clients for air, road and sea freight.
Operating air, road and sea freight bookings.
Updating clients on their shipments.
Mainly working on email, some clients may call direct for updates.
Learning the process of importing and exporting start to finish via road air and sea freight.
Due to location, Car Driver preferred.
