Join our client's Property Maintenance team as a Repairs Co-ordinator and play a key role in ensuring that our housing stock and operational buildings are well-maintained and that our residents and premises managers receive exceptional customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and batch repairs to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and manage a network of contractors to maintain high-quality service.
- Monitor repair deliveries to ensure compliance with policies and performance standards.
- Collaborate with Building Surveyors to diagnose repair solutions for corporate assets.
- Identify and plan strategies for annual revenue repairs and maintenance budgets.
- Develop innovative repair and maintenance programs that comply with planning, health, and safety regulations.
- Manage contract procurement processes, including preparing specifications and tender documentation.
- Supervise repairs and maintenance contracts to ensure compliance with specifications and health and safety plans.
- Control revenue budgets, prepare estimates, and negotiate prices for variations and final accounts.
- Handle correspondence related to repairs and maintenance complaints from tenants, leaseholders, and other stakeholders.
- Provide evidence to the Police and Judiciary as required.
- Monitor and report on the performance of property repairs services.
- Manage the availability of appointment slots and out-of-hours service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience in coordinating and delivering building repairs.
- Knowledge of planning and building regulation requirements.
- Current driving licence.
