Structural Engineer (Minimum 3 Month Contract)

This an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a leading modular and portable buildings company for a 3-month contract working on their commercial projects.

This experienced, multi-national modular and portable building company run a wide range of projects from Commercial, Residential, Leisure, Hospitality and Industrial. They also have great expertise in the off-site modular building industry, especially in light gauge steel and hot rolled steel structures. Having experienced continued growth they now have a number of large projects on their hands and need an experienced Structural Engineer to join the team for a minimum of 3 months.
In this fully remote role you will be designing structural elements for projects in steel including foundation design. You will be directly involved with taking on projects all the way from inspection through to on-site construction. You will be aiding in the delivery of projects to specific client requirements. Your responsibilities will include; creating structural designs, calculations, drawings, stakeholder management and supporting the team to ensure it meets objectives.
This role would therefore ideally suit a Structural Engineer with experience working in the construction sector, ideally on commercial buildings. The successful candidate will have experience creating designs on the structural engineering element of projects. You will also be a self-starter and able to work from home every day as this is a fully remote role.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company working on a variety of projects across a minimum 3 month period with the potential to extend or even be made permanent.
