Due to success, they are looking to grow their successful team by recruiting a Litigator on a full time and permanent basis. This opportunity will allow you to join a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to grow and progress throughout the company.

This is a perfect role for somebody with a background in debt collection and litigation. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team.

You will manage cases from inception through trial, including drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and handling all aspects of discovery. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong advocacy skills and a passion for litigation.

The responsibilities for the Litigator role:

  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analyse case law to support litigation strategies.
  • Interview and depose witnesses, and prepare clients and experts for testimony.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement case strategies.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and legal options.

The ideal person will have:

  • Has worked in a Law firm and has a University degree in Law.
  • Strong understanding of legal litigation procedures.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
