Our Team

An exciting opportunity exists for a Digital Sales Manager to join our Personal Banking team. In this role you'll play a key part in delivering our current account sales plan. You'll work with colleagues in Personal Banking Analytics to develop an in-depth understanding of the current customer journey, while also working with colleagues in various departments to drive changes that improve the journey, increasing sales conversion while delighting our customers. Exciting stuff, right?

What you'll be doing

  • Developing the ‘single source of truth' on PCA sales funnel performance, overall and across the various component parts, and explaining performance fluctuations to senior audiences.
  • Identifying and validating opportunities to improve the PCA sales journey, including expected benefits.
  • Working with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives for delivery and ensuring a joined-up approach across multiple stakeholders where required.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to orchestrate the timely and effective delivery of initiatives, including post implementation reviews to ensure that the estimated benefits have been realised.
  • Providing expert support and formal updates on sales funnel performance to various stakeholders and forums as required.

We need you to have

  • Experience in delivering change initiatives, ideally working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to logically analyse and interpret data, demonstrating a logical approach to problem solving business issues.
  • Innovative thinking, generating original solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to simplify complex messages for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, mainly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

It's a bonus if you have but not essential

  • A strong understanding of bank products, in particular current accounts.
  • A strong understanding of the banking regulatory environment, in particular Consumer Duty.
  • A good understanding of customer experience / process improvement methodologies, e.g. customer journey mapping, value stream mapping etc.
  • A good understanding of formal project management methodologies.
