We are recruiting for a Female Support Worker to join our lovely team on a full-time, permanent basis based in the Sheffield area. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £14.17 per hour waking days rate, and £14.70 per hour waking night per week.

We are extremely proud to offer very distinct and specialised case management services for adults and children recovering from an acquired / traumatic brain injury, spinal or catastrophic injuries and associated disabilities or conditions.

The Female Support Worker Role:

Our Female Support Worker will be supporting a young lady with cerebral palsy and other complex needs living in her own home. The client is a wheelchair user and communicates via low tech and gestures, she is able to express her wishes and preferences to those who know her well.

The client enjoys shopping, bowling, and watching various films.

The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, social and recreational activities, and empowering her to be as independent as possible.

Flexible support required 2-1 care 24/7. The package will include 24/7 care during holidays and weekends.

What we are looking for in our Female Support Worker:

  • Applicants should have excellent communication skills
  • Applicants should have a desire to provide individualized support
  • Previous experience of care with young adults is preferred.
  • Staff must be able to participate in a range of activities with the client, such as hydrotherapy and outdoor pursuits.
  • A driver with a full UK driving license is essential.

The client requires full moving and handling and all aspects of personal care.

The successful applicants will receive full training for this role, input from therapists and regular supervision by the Case Manager.
