Bookkeeper – Derry area | Part Time
Reed Accountancy and Finance is pleased to be working with a highly successful, Derry based organisation, involved in construction and property development.
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join on a part-time, permanent basis.
Offering a competitive salary, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing the following duties:
- Maintenance of computerised bookkeeping system
- Oversee operation of purchases and sales ledgers
- Monitor credit control
- Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
- Completion and submission of Quarterly UK/EU VAT returns/reclaims
- Completion and submission of filings to VAT and RCT
- Other administrative duties as required.
Essential experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Accounts Assistant with a variation of role functions
- IT Proficient to include accountancy packages
Desirable experience
- Experience within the Construction sector
