Customer Service Representative

Reed Business Support Lancaster are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join our clients friendly, successful and dynamic team on a full time and permanent basis. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality customer service for the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing orders, ensuring timely dispatch, accurate documentation, and proactive communication with customers and distribution partners.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Ensure customer orders are dispatched according to agreed lead times and maintain accurate order information.
  • Provide real-time information on deliveries via transport providers.
  • Complete all export documentation accurately and on time.
  • Set up new customer accounts and assist in raising the service standard within the department.
  • Handle varied customer transactions, including inbound calls, service complaints, product enquiries, order entry, and account servicing.
  • Communicate with other departments and providers to research and resolve issues.
  • Take ownership of all issues and enquiries related to your account base.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ambitious and dedicated with a strong work ethic.
  • Punctual and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft software packages.
  • Numerate and literate.
