HR Manager

My client, an expanding organisation based near Fordingbridge is seeking an HR Manager to join them on an initial 3 month interim basis; supporting them through a period of positive change and growth.

Working on a hybrid basis and reporting into the CEO; As an HR Manager, you will be a pivotal part of the organization, overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes.

Your role involves managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, development, and talent management. You'll play a critical role in shaping the positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Planning:
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategies aligned with our overall business goals.
  • Design and lead HR projects that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
  • Work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create effective recruitment strategies.
  1. Employee Relations:
  • Handle complex employee relations cases, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, retirement, and redundancy.
  • Advise managers on employment terms and conditions, sharing best practices.
  1. Performance Management:
  • Implement and oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assess training needs and develop relevant training programs.
  1. HR Metrics and Compliance:
  • Monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Provide decision support to management through HR metrics.
  1. Positive Workplace Culture:
  • Nurture a positive working environment that fosters employee engagement and productivity.
  • Promote corporate values and shape our organizational culture.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Available on 2 weeks notice or less
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills
  • CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) certification is advantageous.
