Foxgroves Recruitment Ltd are delighted to exclusively recruit for a well known and reputable business in Carlisle, known for offering their workforce excellent career progression. This rare opportunity is a pivotal role, essential for evaluating and reporting on the performance of the business manufacturing operations. For this reason we are looking for someone with experience as a qualified finance professional from a manufacturing background. The position is responsible for small team of direct reports and the post holder will report into the FD.
What does this role involve?
The successful candidate will provide relevant management information to support the Finance Director which includes;
- Preparing annual budgets and short, medium and long term strategic plans, monitor, analyse, and report on variances
- Preparing and managing monthly forecasts and variance analyses
- Presenting financials at monthly meetings with the group senior leadership team
- Manage and maintain the SAP reporting system and industrial data
- Conduct cost/benefit analysis, what-if scenarios, capital investment appraisals, project work, and cost reduction initiatives
Qualifications and Experience required
You will be a Qualified Accountant and hold a recognised UK accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
You will also have Significant senior-level accounting experience within a large manufacturing environment and be advanced in Excel and ideally have experience with SAP.
We require someone who has strong Analytical Skills with the ability to understand and interpret information and who has a High degree of business awareness and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
