We are actively recruiting for a job opportunity at a firm of accountants in Cambridge, who are looking to hire at Semi-Senior to Senior Accountant level.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Year-end accounts preparation both for on-line clients and clients using other systems, for review by account manager.
- Prepare first draft of computations and tax returns for companies, sole traders and partnerships for review by account manager.
- Liaise with clients as necessary to help them keep up to date with their accounting records
- Support Account Managers on client matters.
- Monitor status of Accounts work and report back to Account Manager as required
- Monitor performance vs. budgets for clients.
Skills:
- Experience gained from working in an accountancy practice
- Good communication both written and verbal
