We are recruiting for a freight operations clerk to deal with both imports and exports, if you are stronger in one then they will train you in the other.
They are a specialist freight forwarder and you will dealing with air ad road freight shipments, use of Cargowise, ASM Sequoia, completing customs entries.
Duties include:
- Arrange deliveries & collections for import / export by air and road freight
- Update customers on shipments
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers
- Bookings with airlines
- Offering quotes and rates and liaising with senior management where required.
Experience in IPR / VAT / OPR & TIB shipments an advantage
Hours are Monday - Friday 08.00 - 16.30pm / 9-17.30pm and 1 in 4 weeks you are on call but this is done remotely and you will be paid extra for this.
