Your main responsibilities on a day-to-day basis will be (but not limited to)
- Driving company and contracted vehicles to transport cargo between locations as required and within legal compliance
- Loading and unloading cargo received for import and export.
- Delivery of mail and courier bags including heavy lifting of bags and loose bulk.
- Keeping company and contracted vehicles clean and tidy, reporting any mechanical problems.
- Breakdown reports.
- Following company processes and procedures to maintain security and health and safety compliance.
- Customer requirements, including security and regulatory protocols.
To be successfully considered for this role you will need:-
- Excellent command of the English language in both written and verbal communication io effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Full driving licence and LGV2 licence.
- Certificate of Professional Competence.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as our business operates 24/7 to meet customer demands and deadlines
