About the Role

Base Location: Hybrid working with an office base in Perth, Glasgow, or Aberdeen

Salary: £33,500 - £50,300 + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

Our Resourcing Consultants are true partners to our business, using their expertise and stakeholder management skills to lead end to end recruitment activity. This means you'll be empowered to create recruitment strategies and deploy sourcing tools and assessment methods to find and hire the right candidates.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the hiring process from briefing through sourcing and selection to offer stage.
  • Delivering a fair, transparent and inclusive recruitment service to Hiring Managers.
  • Selecting and using the most appropriate sourcing tools.
  • Providing a good standard of candidate experience, ensuring everyone is treated well during their recruitment experiences.
  • Looking for ways to improve our processes, services, systems, and technology to drive a better recruitment experience for all.

What do I need?

We have a great team and between us manage recruitment for all of SSE's business areas. We're looking for someone with a proactive delivery focused approach but we don't mind if your background is in renewables, engineering, technical, corporate or technology recruitment.

We'd also love you to have:

  • Knowledge of a variety of recruitment tools and techniques including LinkedIn, social media and new technologies.
  • Experience of sourcing and engaging quality candidates and managing them through the recruitment process.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly the ability to influence others. Essential to this will be your ability to flex your style according to the level and type of role being recruited for.
  • A sense of pride in your work and the service provided, including willingness to support recruitment-related projects and improvements.
  • An interest in driving diversity through inclusive hiring approaches.
