Customer Service Assistant

My client is continuing to grow and the Ecommerce side of the business is growing the fastest. This is why they are now looking to recruit a Customer Service Assistant to join the growing team.

With more than two decades of experience as independent, international IT distributors they have a reputation for exceeding our customers'? expectations.

Over the past 12 months our E-Commerce department has seen huge growth. Due to this we are looking to recruit a customer service assistant to join the growing team.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in working in customer services for an online business with practical hands on experience dealing with stock, order processing and customer queries.

Previous online marketplace experience would be preferred but is not essential.

What is paramount is great customer service skills and the ability to work within deadlines to meet customer expectations.

Job Roles will include but are not limited to:

  • Review customer orders and handle customer queries via email and phone.
  • Manage customer returns and liaise with warehouse team.
  • Review and provide information about the status of customer returns.
  • Be customer facing and handle messages and phone calls.
  • Returns and rejection management.
  • Providing general customer service in a professional, friendly and helpful manner.
  • Other peripheral business support administration.

You will have...

  • Very strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent phone manner.
  • The ability to use your own intelligence and intuition.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Be able to use Microsoft Office Software and have a good grasp of IT and how to use customer management systems.
  • Experience within a customer services team (preferred but not essential)
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious attitude to achieve objectives
  • Fluent in English
  • A real team player while being a self starter.
  • Be able to work under pressure.

This is a full-time role based in their offices in Heywood. The offices operate Monday - Friday between 8.30-5.30pm.
