Position: School Caretaker
Location: Secondary School, Wigan
Start Date: Mid-September
Duration: Up to 3 Months
Hours: 11am - 7pm
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker for a secondary school in Wigan. This role is to cover a period of up to 3 months due to an operation cover. The successful candidate will work from 11am to 7pm, ensuring the school's facilities are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- General upkeep and maintenance of school premises
- Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the environment
- Handling minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Managing supplies and stock as required
- Assisting with security and monitoring of the school premises
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required
- Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role, preferably within a school setting
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
