We are recruiting a Factory Operative to join a friendly team within an Engineering Company located in Medway on a permanent basis.
Ideally you will have previous factory/ manufacturing experience, however full training will be provided.
Your main duties will include the processing of parts in accordance with Works Instruction:
- Operating a band saw
- Filing of castings/moulded parts using hand tools
- Manual Handling
- Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
- Shot blasting/etching of castings on occasion
- Completing the relevant job cards
You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 07:30am - 1:30pm.
The hourly pay rate is £11.59 per hour pus overtime at an enhanced rate.
