Description
- Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations
- Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
- Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
- Manage month-end and year-end closing
- Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
- Organise financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
- Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
- Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company's targets
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Proven work experience as a Management Accountant, Accounting Supervisor or similar role
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
- Good knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
- Qualifications (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) is an added advantage
