Electrical Engineer - Planned & Reactive Maintenance

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 + Bonus upon DV Clearance
Security Clearance: Local Security Clearance required
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a permanent, full-time role in South London? We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled professional to join their team, providing both reactive and planned maintenance services at their secure office site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal reliability and performance.
- Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical systems and ancillary equipment.
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers as needed.
- Meet all key performance indicators (KPIs) while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork related to maintenance tasks.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition BS 7671:2018
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance
- Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing (2391)
- Strong knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974)
Key Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude towards maintenance.
Shift Pattern:
No shift pattern required; regular daytime working hours.
Security Clearance:
You will need to complete Local Security Clearance, with the opportunity to achieve DV clearance. A bonus is awarded upon successful completion of DV clearance.
