Electrical Plant Fitter

The role;

Our Client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated electrical engineer to handle the operation, maintenance, repair and service of a variety of construction machinery

Responsiblities;

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on heavy plant machinery - both mechanical and electrical.
  • Conducting regular servicing and maintenance checks.
  • Carrying out inspections and testing to ensure equipment is safe to use.
  • Identifying spare parts as necessary.
  • Wiring control panels, reading electrical diagrams.
  • Maintaining, servicing and repairing general hydraulic systems and diesel engines

Requirements;

  • Previous experience as a Plant / Electrical Fitter.
  • Must have knowledge and experience of 12/24v and 3 phase electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of heavy plant machinery and their components.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable using IT equipment.

  • Mon-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
