Business Development Manager

Reporting To: Business Development Director

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days a week)

Salary: Up to £45k

There is an exciting opportunity to join a client who provide market intelligence and consulting services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology community. The ideal candidate will have experience in consultative solution-based selling who can prospect and close new business. They will have a B2B sales background, ideally in the media/publishing space and a background in medical science, pharmaceuticals, pharmacy or similar would be preferred but not essential.

The role will be driving revenue through selling complex cross-platform solutions into the bioscience space. Using a solid sales strategy, you will hunt down new business and pitch and deliver high value content in innovative digital formats.

What will this role include:

  • Selling complex cross-platform solutions
  • Collaboration to deliver successful results for clients
  • Build customer base and nurture these relationships
  • Become a thought leader in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical space

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • 3-4 years of B2B media/publishing or exhibition/conference experience
  • Experience or knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector
  • Experience putting together complex multi-product proposals
  • Proven track record of success in sales
  • A great personality and can-do attitude
