Salary: £23631 - £30481

Reed further Education are seeking an ITQ Trainer Assessor to join a fantastic educational team based in Cambridge on a permanent basis. This role involves taking overall responsibility for an agreed caseload of learners, providing high-quality training, coaching, mentoring, instruction, and assessment to ensure successful completion of apprenticeships and/or qualifications in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a caseload of learners, guiding them to achieve their apprenticeship and/or qualification.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employers and learners, building positive relationships and offering regular progress feedback.
  • Deliver training, coaching, and assessment both in the educational setting and at learners' workplaces.
  • Conduct initial learner assessments to establish readiness and individual learning plans for the apprenticeship programme.
  • Design and provide comprehensive training plans that support holistic development of knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
  • Work with employers to establish developmental activities and tasks for learners.
  • Review and monitor learner progress in knowledge, skills, and behaviours with learners and employers.
  • Uphold the values of the educational institution and adhere to awarding body practices, ensuring best practice at all times.

Agile working with the opportunity for some work from home.

Qualifications:

Level 3 relevant vocational qualification and vocational CPD.

Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent, A1, etc).

Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification.
