????? Maintenance Operative Wanted! ?????
Are you ready to join a dynamic team and keep things running smoothly? Our client, a leading provider of student accommodation in Leeds, is looking for a Maintenance Operative to join their team on a temporary basis.
? What You'll Do:
- Empty bins and prep bins for collection ???
- Keep the bin store spotless ?
- Ensure clean and sparkling shop front style glass windows from ground level ??
- Be the light of the team by changing light bulbs when needed ??
- Clear any blocked showers and drains ??
- Perform visual checks on fire escapes and mechanical doors ??
- Carry out weekly checks on fire alarm activation and fire extinguishers ??
- Ensure fire doors and window restrictors are in working order ??
- Conduct flick tests on emergency lights to keep the place illuminated in case of a power outage ??
- Bring a splash of colour to the place with small painting jobs �?
??? Potential Extras:
- Investigate faults with door locks ??
- If you've got an electrical certificate, to replace panel heaters and swap light fittings ??
- Tackle basic repairs like sticking door closers and wobbly chair legs ??
?? Contract Type: Temporary for an initially 4 weeks period to start asap
? Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
?? Hourly Rate: £11.44
