Are you an Administrator who has some Accounts Payable experience?

Are you looking for a broad and challenging role in the Hemel Hempstead area?

Our client is a well highly successful and long-standing business based in the Hemel Hempstead area and they are looking for someone with a range of skills to bring to their new vacancy.

This role would not suit someone who is actively studying AAT or on a path to becoming a Qualified Accountant. It would however suit someone who has outstanding problem-solving capabilities, the confidence to work with key internal stakeholders and someone who is able to work with large volumes of data.

The role has a 50/50 split between Accounts Payable responsibilities and Database admin. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who have either worked in a mixed role as an Accounts Administrator or perhaps someone who worked in a transactional finance role and then moved into more administrative based positions.

The company offer hybrid working, a competitive salary as well as a company bonus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business partnering with sales and marketing team
  • Supporting the marketing team on budgets
  • Maintain a large database of marketing activities
  • Undertake reviews of key client spends
  • Ensure all promotional activity is linked to database
  • Reconcile budgets of key partners to database
  • Create necessary accruals
  • Support marketing with budgets and re-forecasts
  • Supplier invoices
  • Coding of invoices
  • Supporting Financial Controller with other tasks

The successful candidate will be honest and passionate about their work. This position requires high levels of motivation as well as being highly numerate and detail orientated.

This is not a finance role and will not offer progression. This is an Accounts Administrator role which requires both Accounts Payable and Administrative experience.
