Our client, a leading international law firm, has an opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor with strong ER experience to support the Business Services population.
Responsibilities include:
- Being primary contact for policy queries, applying advice practically
- Conducting investigations for disciplinary and grievance processes in London
- Assisting with drafting correspondence for formal processes
- Managing Maternity/Shared Parental Leave/Paternity processes and long-term
- absences, conducting exit interviews, and advising on London ER issues
- Collaborating to support the HR Manager in launching and delivering the performance
- evaluation process
- Being the main point of contact for evaluation queries and system training
- Assisting with departmental moderation meetings, collating reference materials with support from HR Assistants
- Actively driving participation in the evaluation process
- Maintaining relevant People data sources, including career trackers and headcount reports
- Reviewing monthly audit reports and taking necessary actions
- Monitoring and reviewing quarterly attrition data, reporting trends to the leadership team
- Building and developing relationships within Business Services functions, identifying process improvements and efficiencies
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced and confident HR practitioner who:
- Is alert to employment risks arising from day to day, and more complex, employee related matters
- Is accomplished in mediating between the needs of the business and the employee
- Is professional, confidential and discreet
- Demonstrates sounds judgement and strong communication skills
- Can positively support and guide managers/supervisors through ER case management, taking the lead on certain cases where appropriate.
