I am currently working on an excellent opportunity with a leading Legal 500 Boutique London City law firm who are currently seeking a Contentious Probate Senior Associate or Salaried Partner to work from any of their 4 offices, including 2 Central London offices.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven senior associate solicitor or lawyer (CILEX) who is seeking their next step into a senior management role as Partner.
You may also be a current Partner who is seeking your next step into a Top Tier Legal 500 law firm, where you will be dealing with HNW, complex, and engaging contentious work, whilst also building a legacy and having a long lasting impact on a highly regarded Private Client firm.
Role Responsibilities:
- Independently manage contentious trusts and probate cases, including will disputes, inheritance claims, trust disputes, and contested probate cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis, providing precise and strategic client advice, keeping up to date on developments in contentious trust and probate law.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Foster strong client relationships, offering regular updates and managing expectations effectively.
- Active involvement in business strategy and growth, with the ambition to build upon the teams excellent reputation as a leading Legal 500 firm.
- Keen marketeer and regular involvement in business development, building excellent connections across the industry.
Person Specification:
- You will be a Senior Associate or Partner within an established contentious private client team.
- Excellent experience and expertise in handling complex contentious trusts cases.
- Proven track record of billings (personal and/or team billing).
- Profound understanding of relevant legislation, case law, and procedural rules.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Dedication to delivering top-notch legal services.
- Keen interest in marketing and business development.
- Some form of following is preferred or strong connections in place.
