Qualified ATT Tax Advisor

Competitive salary dependent on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00

Based on site, with occasional travel to clients' offices, Herts, Essex and sometimes London.

Our client located in Hertfordshire are not just your average Chartered Accountancy firm. Founded over 100 years ago, offering top-notch services in accountancy, audit, business advisory, tax, and VAT across various sectors.

They are expanding their Tax team with the addition of a Tax Advisor to support the Tax department and to enable future succession and growth plans.

Focusing primarily on UK personal and company taxation

They will consider support for finishing ATT/CTA status, including full funding of qualifications, study time and guidance from their wonderful team if part qualified.

Responsibilities: ATT Tax Advisor

  • Preparing UK tax calculations and corporation tax returns
  • Providing administrative support to the tax team
  • Interpret and respond to statutory accounts
  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders (Group Businesses, Compliance and Audit teams, HMRC etc)
  • Get involved in extra tax considerations, tax planning etc
  • Being the first point of contact on tax queries from personal tax clients, businesses and working with the team to respond to them in a professional manner

Skills / Experience: ATT Tax Advisor

  • In-depth understanding of the UK Tax regime
  • You will be a problem solver with a keen eye for detail
  • Located ideally within driving distance to Hoddesdon with a valid drivers' licence
  • Looking for an office-based position
  • Strong client-facing skills with a willingness to engage and promote the business effectively
  • Your wider skill set should include communication skills, analytical, numerical and IT skills with the ability to adapt within a growing business
