Description
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS).
- Work closely with finance teams to address financial issues and queries.
- Project management for the year-end audit.
- Responsible for the accounting of financial instruments across the group.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Implement improvements in financial reporting processes.
- Provide training and support to finance teams on technical accounting issues.
Profile
The successful Technical Accountant should have:
- A recognised Accountancy Qualification (ACA / ACCA)
- Ideally an Audit background from a large accountancy practice
- Proficient knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of writing technically detailed accounting papers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities
