We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher to join our client, a highly regarded academy in Redbridge, starting in September 2024 for a 1-year maternity contract. This full-time role involves teaching Key Stage 3 Science and offers a salary in line with the Inner London MPS/UPS.
Job Role Requirements:
- Teach Science to Key Stage 3 students
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students
- Create a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the broader school community
Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Science or a related field
- Proven experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and educational best practices
