Our client who offers customised logistics services globally, is currently looking to appoint an experienced Customer Services Customs Operator, working Monday to Friday, for their branch in Tilbury.
As Customer Services Customs Operator you will be responsible for planning and monitoring deliveries, booking stock in and preparing the relevant paperwork on a day-to-day basis. You'll be liaising with 3rd party carriers and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved. Therefore, an understanding of Customs requirements and managing ETSF is essential.
You will also need to have strong Excel skills, although the company can provide training to enhance skills to an advanced level if required.
- Customer Services Customs Operator duties include:
- Planning and monitoring daily deliveries in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Booking stock in and preparing the relevant paperwork
- Maintaining relationships and daily reporting with 3rd party carriers
- Managing ETSF
- Preparing KPI reports
Skills / Experience Required:
- Ability to analyse data
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Flexibility in approach to work
- Ability to prioritise workload

You will need to have a systematic approach to work and be a confident communicator with the ability to form strong working relationships.
