Robert Half is recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant to join a Suffolk based client.
This role requires someone who can start as soon as possible and initially happy to work fully remote (there may be some travel to Suffolk/Cambridge required at a later date).
For the right candidate this role could develop into a permanent role.
Our client will consider both full time and part time applicants (although any candidate must be available for 1 full week at month end).
For this role our client is looking to offer in the region of £250 - £300 per day (they will be very flexible for an exceptional candidate)
Main Duties:
- Preparation of monthly accounts in line with Group Timetable
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Analyse & investigate variances to budget, provide commentary
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Monitor general ledger and post relevant journals (as required)
- Ensure the monthly group reporting into SAP
- Ensure the intercompany reconciliation process
- Ensure monthly analysis of results
- Preparation and presentation of monthly Management Pack
- Weekly B2B sales reporting & monthly stock reporting
- Complete relevant statutory reporting with the support of an accounting advisory firm
- Coordinate with Tax consultancy to update annual tax strategy for the company
Attributes:
- Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Previous experience in a large business desirable
- Proactive, can hit the ground running
- SAP experience desirable
