Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our client seeks an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be office based Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30pm.
This job would suit an individual studying AAT, CIMA, ACCA or qualified by experience as you will be joining an exciting company looking to expand and develop even further. A great opportunity with fantastic exposure and prospects.
The company are a well-established motor company and highly regarded within their industry, therefore Motor dealership experience is required for this role.
The successful individual will have good attention to detail with good time management and organisational skills. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft suite is also essential, especially good Excel knowledge.
Job responsibilities:
- Fixed Asset Register - Inc Depreciation Journal Monthly
- Assist with Day to Day queries from different level staff in the business
- Month End Journals - Standard Accruals, Prepayments, Profit & Loss review adjustments & Vehicle Depreciation
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Manufacturer Statement Reconciliations
- Vehicle Debt Review
- VAT Return
- Production of Management Accounts
