FMCG Global Marketing Manager

Duration: 3 months initially

Pay: £75-105/hour

Location: London (hybrid working)

The Global Marketing team focuses on the development and execution of Brand- and Marketing strategies, working closely together with our Drive and Seed Markets, to build brand salience, mental, physical and portfolio availability to accelerate the brand's growth across the globe.

Your Role:

This critical role is responsible for collaborating with the local markets and multifunctional team to drive

  • transition plans for the implementation of the simplified destination portfolio which is due to land in market from Q4 2024 / Q1 2025.
  • distribution roadmap by market to 70% ACV of the Destination portfolio
  • adherence to promotion and floor pricing guidelines

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with local markets, Tea/Gifting Portfolio Managers, Supply Chain to develop country-specific transition plans ensuring business waste is kept to a minimum and the destination portfolio is the end goal.
  • Develops business cases to highlight the business implications of the plans in close alignment with lead countries and finance in line with company ambition and targets for sign off by Leadership Team.
  • Collaborates with local markets to highlight areas of opportunities with destination portfolio and drive distribution roadmap and adherence to pricing guidelines.
  • With focus on grocery, collaborates with lead markets and tea portfolio manager to develop compelling trade story.
  • Drives simplification in a complex environment.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 10 years of international marketing/sales experience
  • Solid commercial background with strategic and operation expertise in category and portfolio strategy
  • Proven track record at scaling up a business or brand, creating strategies and delivering growth at a global level.
  • Proven track record of initiating and driving change successfully in previous functions.
