Fabricators/ Platers £20 per hour
Department: Fabrication Department.
Reporting to: Works Fabrication Manager.
Hours of work: Days: Monday - Thursday 16:45 - 2:45am (overtime available)
As one of Sheffield's leading sub-contract manufacturing companies, My client is looking to replace a retirement in the department to support its market growth.
As a time served fabricator/ plater working within a progressive team of fabricators and welders on either the day or night shift you will be working on a variety of fabrications. You will be expected to work as an individual or as part of a team and should be highly experienced in working to drawings and instructions.
- Reviewing engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
- Preparing and fabrication of various sizes of projects.
- Achieve production timings in a timely manner.
- Interpreting customer requirements from engineering drawings, sketches and written/verbal descriptions.
- Communicating with Project Managers during production..
- Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures laid down in the Company Handbook.
- Completing fabrication as required and recording critical dimensions on inspection reports and performing safety checks.
Varied and interesting work, requiring attention to accuracy and detail to ensure tight tolerances are met.
