Salary: Up to £60k (depending on experience) + car/ £6k car allowance + fuel card

About the Project Manager role:

GroupNexus are pleased to advise of a new opportunity that has arisen with our Implementation Team for a Project Manager to manage the implementation of the next generation parking management systems/products from the point of development/sale through to implementation. GroupNexus are implementing multiple sites and products at an accelerating rate and engaging in exciting new business partnerships across the UK. This is a fantastic role with a degree of autonomy, which will involve delivering large scale, customer-focussed capex projects in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Project Manager key responsibilites:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Report and escalate to the Head of Implementation as required.
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Account management of key clients during contract implementation.
  • Managing client expectations.
  • Provide on-line meetings and conference calls to assist new clients, present new functionality, perform training, and collaborate with clients about concerns.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure client needs are identified and follow-up activities are completed.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

Skills required for the Project Manager:

  • Previous Project Management experience in a deadline focused environment.
  • Previous experience managing large and small implementation projects or assisting project delivery teams.
  • Full Driver's License.
  • Understanding of Parking Legislation and Implementation of Parking Systems.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle several projects/tasks at once.
  • Proficient in the use of GSuite Packages.
  • Ability to learn new IT systems and packages quickly.
  • Excellent client-facing/internal communication skills.
  • Good at building relationships.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
