Our client, a national Technology leader, are looking to recruit an IT Staging Technician to join them on a permanent basis in Cardiff.
The role will involve supporting with the testing and staging of IT tech, ready for deployment to customer installations.
This role would suit someone with a good understanding of IT, computers, hardware and software, and someone looking to start a long-term career in a very successful company.
What you'll be doing:
- Imaging, building, configuring and staging of IT systems (PC's/Network equipment/servers/cameras/tablets/hand-held devices) to ensure full functionality before deployment to customer project site.
- Supporting with software and firmware upgrades/downgrades (including routers, firewalls, and switches)
- Supporting with picking, packing, and dispatch of equipment to customer project sites.
What you'll need:
- Strong experience in IT / Computer systems including hardware & software.
- Great customer experience and ability to communicate positively.
- Positive, solutions focused approach to work tasks.
- Manually dextrous.
- Good understanding of health & safety in a work environment.
- Able to drive with access to own transport essential due to location.
- Able to pass a DBS check.
