We are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The role involves a balance of recruitment, employee relations, and generalist duties, contributing to the development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts with department managers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing any issues that may arise and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and systems to support strategic objectives and ensure all HR operations are carried out smoothly and effectively.
  • Manage the HR department's budget and report on current and future staffing needs.
  • Conduct performance management and provide feedback to employees and management.
  • Organize and oversee employee development and training.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, staying up-to-date with changes in employment legislation.
  • Participate in decision-making processes regarding employee benefits, compensation, and welfare.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or other HR executive.
  • Deep understanding of recruitment processes and candidate selection methods.
  • Strong experience in employee relations and HR generalist duties.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to develop clear and fair company policies.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
