Reed Business Support are working with a fantastic non-departmental- public- Body that are on the hunt for a Business Manager to the Chief Executive & Board.

Its an exciting and varied role where you will be managing the day-to-day administration of both offices as well as a variety of special projects on behalf of the Chief Executive and Chairperson as directed.

Within the role you will be deputising where appropriate for the CEO by attending meetings or project updates, contributing to meetings on behalf of the CEO as appropriate and reporting back any actions or outcomes. The job holder will liaise with staff (including the CEO and Directors), Board Members and external stakeholders to ensure any actions are progressed appropriately.

Duties-

  • Provide a highly professional executive support service for the Chief Executive and Chairperson.
  • Planning to ensure that activity scheduling is always up to date, and that the Chief Executive and Chairperson always have the necessary up-to-date, properly researched information when required.
  • Managing the Board Administrator to prioritise and manage the diary commitments of the Chief Executive and Chairperson
  • Anticipating where schedules are getting overloaded and preventing this
  • Ensure that all presentations, speeches, and other communications required by the CEO and Chairperson and/or Board Members are written and presented as required
  • Helping to prepare presentations and assisting in the preparation of papers and project documentation for internal and/or external circulation.
  • Responsible for successful delivery of shorter-term projects and/or assignments delegated to you by the Chief Executive
  • Manage all incoming communications for the Chief Executive, prioritising, redistributing, and actioning as appropriate.
  • Act as secretariat to Leadership and Strategy meetings
