Finance Business Partner - Lichfield - Hybrid - £55,000 + excellent benefits
Alexander Daniels have been exclusively engaged by a leading FMCG business based in Lichfield to help them recruit an experienced and commercially focussed Finance Business Partner. This is a hybrid position with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
The Finance Business Partner will support the Senior Finance Business Partner and make an impact in this fast-paced division. The Finance Business Partner will use your financial expertise to analyse scenarios, forecast outcomes, and delve into details to identify trends that add significant value to our client's business.
The Finance Business Partners Key Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage budgets, understand key drivers, and confidently challenge stakeholders as needed.
- Build and nurture relationships with management teams, providing comprehensive support for the on-trade business and essential analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Directors and their teams, focusing on value addition and prompt resolution of queries.
- Examine cost lines deeply, identifying opportunities and understanding associated risks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the wider finance function, contributing ideas for continuous improvement and positive change.
The successful Finance Business Partner will have the following skills, experience, and qualification:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified accountant with at least 2 years' experience working in a commercial role.
- Clear and considered communicator, skilled at simplifying complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing commercial conversations and understanding sales functions.
- Adept at challenging assumptions and influencing at all levels, with a strong track record of explaining business case outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to add value to a business, whether through financial gains or process improvements.
- Experience with SAP or general BI tools is desirable.
