People2people are recruiting for a Sales Manager to join a prestigious, family owned business within the design industry. This business are renowned for their work with textiles, having their work featured in projects all around the globe.
As a Sales Manager, you will be an integral part of the team, working closely with all departments of the business. This unique opportunity has arisen to join a fantastic, friendly and ever-growing business, and could be the perfect role for someone with existing strong experience within the A&D world, ready for the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead generation and new client acquisition
- Maintaining existing relationships
- Confident creating proposals and presenting to clients
- Communicating with clients both within the UK as well as Internationally
- Reporting, both weekly and monthly to update directors of progress
- Having input into company sales materials (brochures, samples etc)
- Attending regular industry networking events
- Assisting in the organisation of new launches, events, promotions and trade shows
- Ensure the company design library is kept up to date and presentable at all times
- Happy to visit clients on site
Key Attributes required
- Proven experience of working within a similar role in the A&D industry
- Genuinely passionate about the high end interiors market
- Excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Confident at presenting directly to clients
- Commercial awareness and good numerical skills
The salary on offer for this role is £40,000 - £50,000p/a dependent on experience, in addition to this, there is also a very competitive commission structure available.
