Forge Talent are currently engaged with an exciting manufacturer (who are a leader within their field) based in Cheadle. They are currently looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will work closely with the wider finance team and gives applicants a great chance to gain further varied exposure.
The main responsibilities include:
- Assist the Finance Director with preparation of the monthly management accountant.
- Work closely with the Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner and other members of Finance team.
- Accruals and pre-payments,
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations to a high standard.
- Deal with asset based lending processes where required.
- Preparation of VAT submissions.
- Posting invoices for larger suppliers and reconciling accounts.
Ideal Experience:
- AAT qualified or CIMA studied.
- Previous experience within an accounts function.
- Understanding of month end process.
- Ability to priorities work load.
- Strong communicator and able to work with the team.
