Assistant Management Accountant required to join a not-for-profit organisation on a permanent, full time basis. My client is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated individual who is an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic and fast-moving finance function.
Key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant
- Support the production of all financial monitoring working closely with Management & Financial Accounts
- Support budget holders with variances against budget and forecast expenditure
- Maintain a budget framework to support budget setting and management
- Support with balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
- Support banking platforms such as reconciliations and transactions
- Extract complex data, check integrity and produce reports for Senior Management
- Ensure the effective use of financial resources within budgets
Required skills and experience of the Assistant Management Accountant
- Ideally AAT Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
- Previous experience preparing and presenting financial information for non-finance contacts
- Good awareness of UK accounting standards
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- High level of analytical skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite
