LEARNING FACILITATOR IN CONSTRUCTION CRAFTS (TIMBER)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £27,304 to £28,893 per annum
Leeds College of Building is the UK's only specialist further education construction college and we have an excellent reputation for providing quality education in Construction and the Built Environment.
As a Learning Facilitator you will be required to assist and support groups of students, together with providing technical support in all aspects relating to maintenance and general upkeep of machinery and the workshop area.
In addition you will be asked to carry out demonstrations for students and provide instruction on basic craft techniques as required. Therefore the ability to communicate effectively with young people and adults and enthusiasm to help them achieve their qualification is essential.
Duties include ensuring all machines and equipment are maintained, serviced, changed and prepared in accordance with manufacturers and health/safety requirements.
You should have relevant industrial experience and be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in any construction crafts trade. Experience of working in an educational/training capacity and of demonstrating skills is desirable.
